I built Coastal Brim on the foundation of everything I have learned and loved about fashion and retail, but I was not always a fashionista. Growing up, I had plenty of tomboy grit. I was an athlete through and through and even played competitive softball throughout college. Sports taught me discipline, resilience, teamwork, and how to show up with confidence, lessons that now shape the way I run my business. Earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Merchandising refined my creative eye and gave me a strong understanding of trends, branding, and consumer behavior. Becoming a Certified Hat Master elevated my craftsmanship and technical skill, allowing me to bring each custom design to life with intention. From working as a Visual Merchandiser for large national retailers to supporting jewelry and fashion accessory lines at the corporate level, I gained hands on experience in product development, assortment planning, and creating meaningful customer experiences. Coastal Brim is the perfect blend of my competitive drive, creative spirit, and passion for helping others feel confident and seen.
